Abstract

The theory of high-frequency phenomena in perfect boundary metals has been developed with regard to the real spectrum of charge carriers due to which their reflection by the conductor surface is multichannel. It is shown that the Umklapp processes give rise to new mechanisms of anomalous wave penetration into metal and resonant absorption of its energy by conduction electrons.
