Abstract
We fully determine a uniformly valid asymptotic behavior for large, real $a\ensuremath{\omega}$ and fixed $m$ of the angular solutions and eigenvalues of the spin-weighted spheroidal differential equation, which arises from the separation of the Teukolsky equation in Kerr space-time. We complement the analytic work with a numerical study.
