Abstract

In order to confirm the recent theoretical proposition of the field-induced phase transition, NMR experiment has been performed on 133Cs in CsCuCl 3 under the applied magnetic fields up to 15T, parallel and perpendicular to the crystal c-axis. In the parallel configuration the discontinuity of the spectrum has been observed at the field 11.2 T where the magnetization jump occurs. In the perpendicular configuration, the spectral line shift shows a plateau corresponding to the magnetization plateau around 10 T. In each phase the NMR spectrum is compatible with the spin structure proposed by the theoretical model based on the quantum spin fluctuation.
