Abstract

Magnetoresistivity and Hall effect measurements on the antiferromagnetic compound CeAl2, up to 20 T for T > 1.4 K and up to 10 T down to 50 mK, are described. They enable a magnetic phase diagram consistent with that previously derived from other measurements to be drawn. Comparison is made with CePb3.
