Abstract

We have performed the high field antiferromagnetic resonance (AFMR) measurements of Bi 2CuO 4 in the frequency region from 404 to 963 GHz and from 50 to 160 GHz with the pulsed magnetic field up to 30 T. The frequency dependence of the AFMR mode at 4.2 K for B‖[0 0 1], which was not observed in the previous submillimeter wave ESR measurements due to the limitation of the available frequency up to 383 GHz, are observed directly for the first time. Observed AFMR modes are discussed in connection with the analysis by the molecular field theory and the pervious neutron scattering measurements.
