Abstract

Recent data indicates that obesity and metabolic disease can influence the immune system. However, the effects and mechanisms of obesity in the pathology and development of food allergy (FA) remain largely unclear. Here, by utilizing a murine model of FA, we investigated the role of high-fat diet (HFD)-induced obesity on the development of FA and assessed possible mechanisms involved.
