Abstract
The chopper spectrometer MARI at the ISIS pulsed neutron source was used to measure the spin-wave dispersion in the Heisenberg linear-chain antiferromagnet KFeS 2 at 10.7 K. Aligning the chain axis of a 3.4-cm 3 single crystal with the direction of incidence allowed the signal to be integrated over all low-angle detectors (2θ<≃10 o ) without significant loss of resolution
