Abstract

We have developed the transport model and code of the high energy particles in the laser produced plasmas. The thermal electrons transport is treated by Fokker‐Planck equation. The suprathermal electron and alpha particle transport are treated with multigroup diffusion model. The neutron transport is treated by the Boltzmann equation. We investigate the effects of these high energy particles on impolsion hydrodynamics. The preheating by high energy particles tends to reduce and stablize the hydrodynammic instabilities in laser fusion plasmas.
