Abstract

The results of measurements of high energy charged particle flux variations during quiet magnetosphere periods are presented. It is shown that the observed increases of particle intensity interrelate with seismic activity of Earth. The temporal and spatial correlations between the earthquakes and fluctuations of particle intensity are found. The hypothesis of possible mechanism of seismo-magnetospheric phenomena is discussed. The possibility to use these phenomena for developing earthquake prediction method is discussed.
