Abstract

The production cross sections and angular distributions of high-energy \ensuremath{\gamma} rays have been measured for the reactions of $^{86}+\mathrm{Z}\mathrm{r}$, $^{40}+\mathrm{C}\mathrm{a}$, and $^{40}+\mathrm{Z}\mathrm{r}$ at E/A=15 MeV. The high-energy \ensuremath{\gamma}-ray cross section and spectral shape are consistent with previous studies. The source velocity of \ensuremath{\gamma}-ray emission for the three reactions is close to that of the nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass frame. The multiplicity of low-energy \ensuremath{\gamma} rays in coincidence with high-energy \ensuremath{\gamma} rays has been measured for the first time.
