Abstract

The traditional bidirectional isolated converter has some problems, such as high voltage stress and low efficiency. Therefore, this paper takes the isolated bidirectional three-level half-bridge DC-DC converter (IBTC) as the research object, which has the advantages of low voltage stress and three-level output on both sides of the converter. On the basis of this topology, the two-side chopping and phase shifting control that optimizes the control parameters is proposed. The goal of this control strategy is to minimize root mean square (RMS) of inductor current and realize zero voltage switch (ZVS). The correctness and the effectiveness of the control strategy is verified by simulation and experiment.
