Abstract

Data on testing sintered periclase clinker obtained from flotation magnesite concentrate for the production of refractory parts are presented. It is shown that by organizing production of high-density periclase powders in the plant from flotation magnesite concentrate with the minimum possible content of impurity SiO2 and CaO oxides the quality of the products can be improved with a much longer service life provided for linings of heating installations.
