Abstract

We present high average power second harmonic generation of a femtosecond fiber chirped pulse amplification system. At the highest repetition rate of 5.25 MHz the average power of the second harmonic is 135 W. In addition, we measured a constant conversion efficiency up to this repetition rate showing that thermal effects can be neglected up to this power level. The M2 of both the fundamental and IR are measured to be smaller than 1.2 proving an excellent beam quality.
