Abstract

Cloud Computing is a growing field in IT industry. Cloud services should always be accessible and available 24 x 7 through internet. In a cloud environment, continuous availability of cloud resources is the major concern for both cloud service providers and consumers, few services like restore point, duplication, load balancing, scheduling etc. can be used to address this concern. Apart from these services, there is a scope to search for infrastructure and middleware or third-party solutions for this problem. In this paper, a model and system approach is proposed to improve the availability of cloud resources and services to cloud consumers. The suggested model is then compared with existing model on test cycles using Weibull and exponential distribution and from the quantitative and graphical analysis, it has been proved that the proposed model offers high availability of the cloud resources thus ensures the optimum reliability and accessibility to cloud consumers.
