Abstract

This paper describes the design of an optoelectronic device for high-accuracy transfer of the direction of a vector from one plane to another, based on the autocollimation method, using a reflector in the form of a prism unit. The device makes it possible to determine the relative rotation angle of objects within the limits ±1.5° to within 5″. When the device is used as a vertical channel of direction transfer, the limiting error of azimuth transfer is no more than 7″ when the distance between the objects is 2.5–3.5 m.
