Abstract

The paper will present a new architecture for generating a multitude of circuit functions. The proposed computational structure will be able to amplify, multiply or square signals and, additionally, to replace a classical resistor with both positive or negative resistance. As a consequence of using a multifunctional circuit for realize four circuit function, the equivalent complexity for each implemented function can be strongly reduced. The new proposed low-power low-voltage circuit has a minimal supply voltage of 1V and its power consumption is between 0.5 μW and 0.75 μW.
