Abstract
We present an attempt to identify two Higgs boson processes ( pp → HX → W + W − X → l + ν l − ν X and pp → HX → t t ¯ X → 4 μ X ) from backgrounds, by using the discriminant analysis and neural networks methods. Events were produced at LHC energies, using the PYTHIA 6.1 Monte Carlo generator, in the Higgs mass range 115 < M H < 200 GeV / c 2 .
