Abstract
Predictive coding and neural oscillations are two descriptive levels of brain functioning whose overlap is not yet understood. Chao etal. (2018) now show that hierarchical predictive coding is instantiated by asymmetric information channeling in the γ and α/β oscillatory ranges.
