Abstract

The Instituto Argentino de Radioastronomia (IAR) was created in Argentine in 1962 by an agreement among the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cientificas y Tecnicas (CONICET), the Comision de Investigaciones Cientificas de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, and the national universities of Buenos Aires and La Plata.
