Abstract
The asymmetric unit of Ni(C3H7NO)6(ClO4)2 contains two independent ClO4− anions along with two independent halves of the [Ni(dmf)6]2+ cation, each Ni2+ ion being located on a centre of symmetry. The two cations differ in the orientation of the dmf ligands.
