Abstract

The crystal structure of [Ti(H 2 O) 6 ](p-CH 3 C 6 H 4 SO 3 ) 3 .3H 2 O consists of discrete cations, anions and solvate water molecules, all linked by a hydrogen-bonding network. Each Ti ion lies on an inversion centre and shows essentially octahedral coordination with Ti−O bonds in the range 2.018 (5)-2.046 (6) A
