Abstract
The article discusses the mechanism of solving creative tasks in a dream. The concepts of heuristic autodialog and lucid dreaming are formulated, the structure of the first is described and the possibilities of its implementation in the process of the second are shown. The role of the phases of fast and slow sleep in solving the problem by the method of heuristic autodialog in lucid dreaming is considered.

Менделееву в составлении его знаменитой таблицы химических элементов помог сон, что именно во сне пришла идея иглы для швейной машины Элиасу Хоу, что Нильс Бор увидел во время сна картину, натолкнувшую его на создание модели атома, что Августу Кекуле приснился сон, в результате которого он открыл кольцо бензола ...Интересно то, что эти сны, как правило, не давали конкретного решения поставленной задачи, но приводили к искомому ответу по аналогии или ассоциативно.
