Abstract
Time-temperature dependencies of the nucleation rates for lithium disilicate glasses containing impurities of Au, Ag and Pt were investigated. The absolute values of nucleation rate for lithium disilicate were determined, as were values of activation enthalpy of structural unit transitions from glass to crystal and those of glass viscous flows. An equation for temperature dependence of the heterogeneous nucleation rate was obtained.
