Abstract

In accordance with experimentally determined solubility data for glycine barium bromo chloride crystal, the metastable zone results revealed that it increases with the rise of cooling rates, whereas it decreases as the saturation temperature increases. Nucleation theory parameters were estimated by making a fit of the analytical probability distribution from the stochastic model with the experimental probability distribution. Growth patterns depending upon supersaturation were also studied. Additionally, transparent as-grown bulk crystals have crystallized from the optimized growth parameters.
