Abstract

AbstractAlkynones represent one class of interesting building block which are frequently founded in a variety of biologically active compounds.[1] They have been emerged as key intermediates in the synthesis of various natural products and heterocycles.[2] Therefore, a considerable interest has been attracted and numerous strategies have been explored for the synthesis of alkynones. The traditional methods mainly rely on the reactions of acid chlorides with terminal alkynes.>[3–4] However, some drawbacks remain existing, including high reaction temperature, unstable acid chlorides, and poor functional group tolerance.
