Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.It is a theoretical and practical subject of unique research value to analyze the factors affecting the transformation and upgrading of resource-based cities in the coastal economic belt and explore the heterogeneity of the influence of different indicators on the transformation and upgrading of resource-based cities in the coastal economic belt. The research is beneficial to guide the characteristic development of different types of resource-based cities and promote the transformation and upgrading of resource-based cities in the coastal economic belt. Based on quantile regression, this article uses the statistical data between 2007 and 2016 to conduct heterogeneity analysis over the indicators that affect the industrial structure transformation of 15 resource-based cities in the coastal economic belt including Dongying and some other cities. On this basis, this article further discusses the problems in the industrial structure transformation of resource-based cities in the coastal economic belt and proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
