They have interesting pharmacophore that display a broad spectrum of Pharmacological activity. The 1,3,4-thiadiazole compound is an interesting heterocycling group that has been used to synthesize a variety of useful bioactive compounds. The stability of thiadiazole nucleus has inspired medicinal chemist to carry out various structural variation in the ring. The marketed drugs such as acetazolamide and methazolamide etc showed their therapeutic potential Therefore; many researchers have synthesized these compounds as target structures and evaluated their biological activities.
