Abstract
Heterocyclic rearrangements of benzofuroxans, benzotriazoles, furoxans, 1,2,4-oxadiazoles, benzofuroxans, anthranils, triazoles, benzotriazoles, isoxazoles and some related compounds are reviewed in connection with the problem of benzofuroxan ring chain tautomerism. Both mono- and bicyclic rearrangements of these five-membered heteroycles and their benzo-derivatives, and related heterocyclic transformations are discussed with an emphasis on the most relevant earlier and recent studies
