Abstract

Background and Aims: The potential effects of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons on cardiovascular disease are well known. Despite their structural similarities; different types of heterocyclic aromatic amines are not considered enough on the basis of cardiovascular disease. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the effects of various heterocyclic aromatic amines exposure via diet on lipid profile and atherosclerosis.
