Abstract

To our knowledge, we report the first case of a herpetic endothelial dendrite in a patient with known herpetic keratitis. The patient had been treated with topical antivirals for herpetic epithelial dendritic keratitis. When the epithelial dendrites had resolved, the new endothelial dendrite appeared. The adjacent cornea was not edematous; however, the apparent endotheliitis was treated with oral antivirals and topical steroids until resolution.
