The article presents hermeneutic analysis of the theoretical problems of the normative structure of science. Methodological and ethical norms of scientific cognition are considered from the point of view of Gadamer’s hermeneutic onthology, where scientific norms are regarded as an important part of the hermeneutic circle, one of the important means of formation of the prestructure of understanding. In the article there have been explicated the hermeneutic features of well known theories of philosophy of science by L.Witgenstein, T.Kuhn, R.Merton and others. Special attention is payed to the metaphysical aspects of scientific methodological and ethical norms. Citations of many famous scientists are presented proving the religious origin and intentions of scientific world outlook in XIX – XX centuries.
