Abstract
In almond, the yield component characters like number of flowers/unit shoot length, fruit set before harvesting, number of fruits/unit shoot length, mean fruit weight and mean kernel weight showed comparatively higher genotypic and phenotypic coefficient of variation, heritability and genetic advance indicating pre-dominance of additive gene action for the control of these characters in the material studied.
