Abstract

Gingival enlargement, either localized or generalized might be attributed to a number of reasons, ranging from inflammation, leukemic infiltration, and association with use drugs. Idiopathic or hereditary gingival fibromatosis (HGF) is an uncommon condition of the gingival tissues which is characterized by enlargement of the free and attached gingivae. This report presents an unusual case of HGF with severe bony involvement in a young patient.
