Abstract

Paraquat and diquat are among the most used herbicides worldwide. Both are bipyridyl herbicides associated with frequent household or professional accidental exposition and toxicity [1]. Dermal absorption of paraquat is scarce with intact skin (0.3%) but cases of severe toxicity have been observed in subjects with extensive skin damage [2–4].
