Abstract

Introduction: HCC Synchronous to gastric cancer (GC) and colorectal (CCR) associated with has recently been sporadically reported in Japan. Synchronous GC in extrahepatic primary cancers ( EHPC) associated with HCC shows a markedly high rate in Asia compared to that in Western countries. Although many diagnostic and therapeutic issues regarding patients with GC or HCC remain, the clinical outcome of these patients is gradually improving. Therefore, the evaluation of synchronous GC associated with HCC will be important for achieving better clinical outcomes.
