  • Test results for acute arbovirus infection and PCR were negative for all patients (Table)

  • Intensive surveillance for febrile illness preceded by conjunctivitis, immediate treatment, contact prophylaxis, and appropriate prompt laboratory testing are essential for continued control of BPF in this region
