Abstract
(Abstracted from Lancet 2023;402:54–61) Inherited thrombophilia is implicated as a cause of recurrent pregnancy loss, defined as the loss of 2 or more pregnancies. Heparin is the standard treatment for acquired thrombophilia but is not recommended in cases of recurrent pregnancy loss and inherited thrombophilia.
