Abstract

Hemsirelik ve Tip Ogrencilerinin Cevre Sorunlarina Yonelik Tutumlari Amac: Bu arastirmanin amaci, hemsirelik ve tip fakultesi ogrencilerinin cevre sorunlarina yonelik tutumlarini ve etkileyen faktorleri belirlemektir. Materyal Metod: Kesitsel tipte tanimlayici arastirma Bulent Ecevit Universitesi Tip Fakultesi ve Hemsirelik Bolumu ogrencileriyle (S=735) gerceklestirilmistir. Veriler, Kisisel Bilgi Formu ve Cevresel Tutum Olcegi ile toplanmistir. Veriler yuzde, ortalama, standart sapma, ki-kare, student t testi, tek yonlu ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis, Mann Whitney U testi ve Pearson korelasyon analizi ile degerlendirilmistir. Bulgular: Ogrencilerin Cevresel Tutum Olceginden ortalama 82.25±1.02 puan aldiklari saptanmistir. Kiz ogrencilerin (p=0.06), Tip Fakultesi ogrencilerinin (p=0.00), cevreye karsi bazen ilgisi olanlarin (p=0.00), saglik calisanlarinin cevreye karsi duyarli olmalari gerektigini dusunenlerin (p=0.000), ekonomik durumlari orta duzey olanlarin (p=0.01) cevresel duyarliliklarinin daha fazla oldugu bulunmustur. Sonuc: Ogrencilerin cevresel duyarliliklarinin yuksek oldugu ve cevre sorunlarina yonelik tutumlarinda demografik ozelliklerinin etkili oldugu belirlenmistir. Nursing Department and Medical Faculty Students’ Attitudes towards Environmental Problems Aim: The purpose of this study was to determine nursing department and medical faculty students’ attitudes towards environmental problems and affecting factors. Material and Method: This cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted with Nursing and Medical students’ (N= 735) Bulent Ecevit University. Data were collected by Personal Information Form and Environmental Attitudes Scale (EAS). Data were evaluated by using SPSS 16.0 Packet Program. Results: It was determined that students were had scored average of 82.25±1.02 form EAS. It was determined that medical students (p=0.000) was more sensitive towards environmental problems. It was found that being sensitive to the environment (p=0.000), thought to be sensitive to the environment of health workers (p=0.000), economic level (p=0.010) were affected the environmental sensitivity of students. Conclusion: It was determined that the students' environmental awareness was high and their environmental attitudes were affected by demographic factors.
