Abstract

Hemorrhagic Cystitis after bone marrow transplantation in pediatric patients has a wide clinical spectrum ranging from microscopic hematuria to a life-threatening bleeding. Herein, we describe an unusual case of a 14-year-old male with severe HC and bladder perforation successfully treated by surgery followed by intravesical prostaglandin administration. We discuss the various modalities to treat Hemorrhagic Cystitis and present a proposed treatment scheme.
