Abstract

Objectives: ECG-triggered peripheral muscular counterpulsation (MCP) was proposed as a new non-invasive technique for treatment of acute cardiac failure in coronary artery disease (CAD). Study purpose: 1) to evaluate safety and efficiency of MCP; 2) to determine its hemodynamic effect on cardiac function.
