Abstract

Introduction : This study has for objective to study the bacteriological profile and the sensibility in antibiotics of the main isolated bacteria of hemocultures and to compare the frequency of microorganisms isolated in the data of the literature. Material and methods : Retrospective study led on 11mois from dec 2008 till Nov 2009, included all the microorganisms isolated from hemocultures practised at patients hospitalized in Fez university hospital. Results : During this period, we brought together 407 positive isolates on 2023 made hemocultures among which 77 % were Gram-negative bacilli and 22 % of the Gram-positive cocci with an ascendancy of Staphylococcus aureus (19 %). Enterobacteriaceae represent 69,5 % with an ascendancy of Enterobacter cloacae (32,4 %). The positive hemocultures resulted for 45,95 % of patients sent by the service of neonatology. 4 candidemies in Candida albicans were retained. The resistance in the oxacilline was 2,56 % for Staphylococcus aureus and 60 % for Staphylococcus in coagulase denial. No tree stump of resistance decreased in glycopeptides was isolated. Enterobacteriaceae were resistant in the C3G in 54 %, they represent a extended spectrum betalactamase widened in 17,3 %. Conclusion : A biological surveillance of the dominant germs is imperative to maintain the quality of the first-line antibiotic therapy. The sanitary education based on the individual and collective hygiene, the premature treatment of the potential entrances are imperative to decrease the incidence of the septicemias acquired in community.
