Abstract

LAS VEGAS — If you want to become more effective at leading through times of change, you can benefit from the insight of a seasoned leader. Robert Gates has held multiple high‐level leadership roles, including the Chair of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Constitution Committee, the U.S. Secretary of Defense, and the President of Texas A&M University. At the annual convention for the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, he shared his lessons learned.
