A great part of the aerosols released to the atmosphere from high temperature anthropogenic processes are dispersed over large areas before being removed mainly by wet deposition. The significance of this long-distance atmospheric transport with regard to the chemical composition of surface soils has not been appreciably recognized in the past.KeywordsHeavy MetalAtmospheric DepositionHeavy Metal PollutionMoss SampleSurface PeatThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
