Abstract

We calculate theO(g2mf2/Mw2) fermionic corrections to the Higgs-boson coupling to W and Z bosons in the limit mf ≫ Mw. We find that these corrections decrease the partial width of Higgs-boson decays to W- and Z-boson pairs by up to 75% for fermion and Higgs-boson masses allowed by perturbative unitarity. The same suppression applies to Higgs-boson production via W- and Z-boson fusion.
