Abstract
The standard enthalpies of formation of Ni(II) acetylacetonate (acac), benzoylacetonate (bzac) and of dibenzoylmethanate (dbzm) were determined. The enthalpy changes for several hypothetical reactions of complex formation in the gaseous state were calculated on the basis of the appropriate thermodynamical cycle. The NiO bond energies were determined.
