Abstract

The extraordinary high Jc value up to 5.2 MA/cm2 was obtained in the pure YBCO film by optimizing the heat treatment process for the specific precursor solution. The orientation, surface morphology, texture, and performance of YBCO films fabricated by the different low-fluorine precursor solutions and heating rates are systematically investigated for the first time. A reasonable heat treatment strategy is proposed for obtaining satisfactory YBCO films considering the synergistic effect of the heating rate and fluorine content.
