Abstract

The theory of micropolar fluid due to Eringen is used to formulate a set of boundary layer equations for the heat transfer along a non-isothermal porous stretching sheet. The equations are analyzed by suitable variables transformation and the similarity solutions are obtained by the implicit finite difference method. Numerical results are plotted and tabulated for the variation of the Nusselt number for a wide range of dimensionless material parameters.
