Abstract

A perturbation analysis is presented for a weak jet over a disc rotating with a velocity varying sinusoidally about a nonzero mean and a wall jet impinging normally over an oscillating plate. The constant wall temperature boundary condition has been considered. Numerical results for the universal functions for the velocity and temperature fields are given. The missing wall derivatives of the velocity functions and thermal functions for Prandtl numbers ranging from 0.01 to 100, have been tabulated.
