Abstract

The solution of the problem of heat transfer from the surface of continuous finned pipes at different temperatures of its bases, of gas flow temperatures and heat transfer coefficients is obtained. The obtained analytical dependences allow to calculating the influence of the asymmetry of the boundary conditions on the heat transfer through the finned heat exchange surface. Calculated dependencies can be used to design heat exchangers in power plants, air conditioning systems, ventilation and heat supply systems. The presented results can be especially useful under real conditions of heat exchangers operation. It ensures the safe and reliable operation of engineering systems in general.
