Abstract

A heat transfer simulation method to obtain the temperature distribution law of asphalt pavement during microwave hot recycling is proposed in this study. The heat transfer form and simulation steps in microwave hot recycling for asphalt pavement are analysed. Heat transfer simulations are conducted on asphalt pavements with different thicknesses and initial moisture contents. It is found that the temperature field of asphalt pavement is closely related to the thickness and initial moisture content of the asphalt pavement. These research results can simulate the hot recycling process on site and offer guiding significance for improving the distribution of the recycling temperature field of asphalt pavement.
